Tours of fresco scheduled for All School Reunion

The 18-foot by 41-foot production is located in the Performing Arts Center at Lindbergh Elementary School, and fresco artist and Little Falls Alumnus Charles Kapsner will be in attendance to personally conduct the tours.

Kapsner will explain the actual fresco medium which began in Europe hundreds of years ago and is the artform responsible for some of the world’s most renowned masterpieces, such as Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Kapsner had the privilege of studying fresco painting first hand in Italy, and has since brought it home to Little Falls.

He will also be explaining the three different panels that make-up “Beginnings” and the story they tell about the 150 year history of Little Falls and Central Minnesota.

Kapsner has spent the last several weeks preparing the two completed panels for the tour and applying the 22 carat gold leaf to the facade.

“Beginnings” is a must see attraction for anyone visiting Little Falls as well as any area residents who have not had an opportunity to view it. Everyone is welcome.
