Exchange Club announces Boy of the Month

The Little Falls Exchange Club has announced its December Boy of the Month.

Daniel Jensen is the son of David Jensen and Ruth Jeremiason-Jensen of Little Falls. Dan’s activities in school have included participation in Math League, Knowledge Bowl, school plays and he is a member of the National Honor Society.

Tony Kula of the math department commented, “Dan has accomplished many things at this level of mathematics and is now experiencing the rewards for his efforts. As co-captain of the math league, he is looked upon by members for his cool-headed approach and well-rounded knowledge of difficult material.”

Ron Hinnenkamp noted, “Dan is an excellent selection for Student of the Month because of his drive to accept challenges and his strong interest in learning. Dan is always willing to put in the extra time that it takes to excel, whether it be in the classroom or in other school activities. In academic competitions, Dan exerts a quiet leadership which makes his teams stronger. I heartily endorse Dan for this recognition because I feel that he epitomizes what the award is all about, that being academic and extracurricular excellence.”

Daniel’s hobbies include four-wheeling and working on a dairy farm. His future plans include attending NDSU this fall for a degree in mechanical engineering.
