Community Band at St. Francis Music Center

St. Francis Music Center, Little Falls, will offer a fun musical experience for all area musicians. Each Thursday evening, a community band will meet from 7 – 8 p.m. at the music center. The band is open to anyone that plays a band instrument regardless of their level of ability. Adults who have band instruments hidden in the closets of basements are welcome to relearn their band skills. The music will be adapted to fit the level of each student. This would also be a great family activity.

St. Francis Music Center is basing the program on the success of their String Ensemble program, which meets weekly and is open to string players of all ages. It is an enjoyable time to learn the skills and meet new people, all who share a love of music.

The community band will be free and open to the public. Participants do not need to be a student at the music center to participate. The director of the band will be Kevin Stueven, who holds a degree in instrumental music and teaches at the music center. For more information or to sign up, call the music center at 320-632-0637.
