The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce has named its May Employee of the Month.

Chosen for the honor was Kathy Dorn, a kindergarten teacher at Lindbergh Elementary School. Kathy has taught for 13 years—seven at Lindbergh Elementary.

Lindbergh Principal Dan Bakke said, “Mrs. Dorn is very deserving of this recognition. She is a great representative for all of the caring, dedicated, professional educators in our community.”

Commenting on receiving the award, Kathy said, “Teaching children is a wonderful privilege. I have the great fortune to teach with the most compassionate and dedicated staff you will ever find.”

In her spare time, Kathy, married to Bob Dorn and having three children—Brittany, 16; Mitchell, 12; and Melanie, 7—enjoys reading camping snowmobiling, traveling and watching her children grow.

In recognition for being chosen as the May Employee of the Month, Kathy will receive gift certificates from Broadway Stylists and Subway, a photo by Silkers Studio, flowers by Coborn’s and a cookbook from the Morrison County Record.
