LF Council receives wastewater treatment and recycling reports

The Little Falls City Council received its monthly Waste Water Treatment Plant and recycling reports April 25.

The monthly influent flow averaged 950,000 gallons. The high daily flow of 1,200,000 gallons was recorded on March 30. The low daily flow of 880,000 gallons was recorded on March 2. The total flow through the facility was 29,490,000 gallons.

The monthly influent flow at the pretreatment facility averaged 99,984 gallons. The high daily flow of 121,750 gallons was recorded March 25. The low daily flow of 36,630 gallons was recorded March 7. The total flow through the facility was 3,099,520.

The recycling report showed that during March there were 5,850 pounds of glass, 2,822 pounds of cardboard, 3,485 pounds of tin/aluminum, 19,280 pounds of newspaper, 1,095 pounds of magazines and 5,030 pounds of plastic recycled through City Sanitary Commercial. The total for the month was 37,562.
