We would like to thank Falls GM for hosting the car seat clinic on Saturday, April 9. The event was very successful. The task force inspected 28 child passenger seats and needed to replace 13. We would also like to thank the all volunteers. Thank you! This clinic was funded by the Safe Kid Buckle Up Grant/General Motors and Crow Wing Power.

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile was a success, receiving 284 units—six units below our goal. Thanks to: donors who gave to the cause, businesses who allowed for posters, Little Falls Radio and the Morrison County Record—who informed the public, Community Federal and Pine Country Bank for reminding people through marquees, Parker’s Food Pride and Coborn’s for snacks, and the many volunteers who helped. The next bloodmobile will be June 29-July 1.—Sister Julien Dirkes, Franciscan Sisters.
