The Morrison County Food Shelf extends a huge thank you to all the businesses, individuals, churches, civic and veteran’s groups, and schools for their support during March FoodShare.

We received 9,833 pounds and $49,695.52 during our March campaign. Once again, the citizens of Morrison County have shown their concern for the less fortunate.

I would like to thank the people who took the time to gather on such a beautiful Sunday afternoon to recognize my wrestling coaching career. The cards and gifts are much appreciated. The plaque from the letter club, the gift certificate from my wrestlers, the videos, and the beautiful Redlin print all will find special places in my home and my heart. A special thank you to the ladies of the wrestling club, Lynn E., Lynn B., Brenda, Linda, Betty, Wendy, and others who helped plan and organize this special day. Thank you so much for the well-written article by Tina Snell highlighting the outstanding volunteer work done by Noonie Boldon and Sandy Morse at St. Gabriel’s Hospital Gift Shop. Those two women are dedicated to creating a great place to shop and make the other gift shop volunteers feel much appreciated. On behalf of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, we wish to thank the 105 sisters and volunteers who helped at the spaghetti supper fund-raiser on April 22 at St. Francis Convent.
