Several volunteers from Little Falls answered a recent plea for help to gut homes in New Orleans to the studs. The plea was made in response to the potential epidemic of disease resulting from the mold and decaying materials in these homes, destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, as temperatures rise in New Orleans. Lt. Governor Carol Molnau spends Memorial Day in Swanville

Memorial Day is the day set aside annually to honor and remember the sacrifices of the men and women serving in the military—those men and women given the heavy responsibility of protecting the freedoms Americans enjoy. Last Monday, Minnesota’s Lt. Governor, Carol Molnau, was present at Swanville’s Memorial Day Program for just that reason.
