While Morrison County will qualify as a small community on any demographic study, it still doesn’t stop local citizens from putting on a big event when it comes to the Relay for Life. The event has grown every year since its inception in Little Falls and this year’s out-put passed even the most optimistic of expectations by raising $188,352.74 for cancer research.
Credit for that belongs to chairs Bob and Cindy Stoltman, as well as all the volunteers to be sure, but it is the citizens of the area who have made the Little Falls event one of the best in the state. Of the 140 Relay events in the state of Minnesota, the Little Falls event placed third in total earnings.
Congratulations to a community that places the Relay first among its priorities.
