TRSA U19 girls are runners-up at NSC Cup (5-28)

The TRSA  Heat U19 C2 girls team was runner-up behnd an Inver Grove Heights team at the NSC Cup.

 

A Three Rivers Soccer Association girls team was runner-up in the NSC Cup tournament at Blaine on May 26-28.

The TRSA  Heat U19 C2 team, coached by Doug Anderson and Dave Jess, beat Hopkins Royals of Golden Valley 3-1 and NESA Lightning of Willernie 3-1 in pool play, before losing to the Inver Grove Heights Heat 5-1.

 

They still earned a berth the first-place game, where they lost to the same IGH team 2-0.

 

Goalkeeper Eva Gadich kept it close, making 21 saves. Lindsey Halversen scored six goals and Cassie Quick had one in the tournament.
