Bluejacket hockey teams drop games to old rivals

Cambridge-Isanti boys fall to Spring Lake Park 6-3, and C-I-M girls lose 2-1 to St. Francis Nov. 29

The Bluejacket boys hockey team dropped to 0-2 to start the 2008 season when host Spring Lake Park prevailed 6-3 Nov. 29. Garrett D'Aigle scored two goals and had an assist for the C-I boys and Peter Jonson netted the other goal. JT Sibell and Nate Holter picked up assists against the Panthers. Bryant Geis stopped 35 of 41 shots in goal, while the Bluejackets mustered 25 shots on the Park net.

• The Cambridge-Isanti-Mora girls dropped their second game of the season to a Section 7AA partner when visiting St. Francis got past them 2-1 Nov. 29. The Saints led 2-0 in the third period when Becky Katz got the Jackets on the board with a goal off assists from Emily Ludowese and Whitney Schaff. The Bluejackets outshot the Saints 30-21.
