Goalkeeper Nick Werner and the Elk River Elks yielded just one goal in three games as they beat Moorhead, Fargo North, and Fargo South in a weekend tournament there.

Soccer: Elks nip Moorhead 1-0 in overtime, stay unbeaten (8-29)

With 30 seconds left in a 90-minute match (counting overtime), the Elk  girls scored on a corner kick to beat Moorhead 1-0 on Friday, staying unbeaten at 2-0-1.
