Cambridge Medical Center receives patient safety award

Nine hospitals of Allina Hospitals & Clinics have received Patient Safety Excellence awards from the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA). The awards honor hospitals that have implemented at least 90 percent of the best practices identified in MHA’s safety campaigns.

Wynn Wyatt Smith, 56, of Coon Rapids, Minn., passed away October 26, 2008 in Isanti, Minn. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham.

Jeanne Dorothy Dahlquist, of Braham, Minn., passed away on October 26, 2008 in the comfort of her own home on the family farm. She died from brain cancer at 60 years old.

Irene Enos, 70, of Cambridge, died October 28, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Eunice Hohn

Eunice Elaine (Geary) Hohn, 71, of Cambridge, Minn., formerly of Mora, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge with her husband at her bedside. Eunice lived with Parkinson’s disease for 23 years.

Elsie Wessman

Elsie Ruth Wessman, 87, died Aug. 11, 2008, of natural causes in Seattle, Wash. Cremation has taken place and interment was held in Glasgow, Mont. A memorial service was held in Port Townsend, Wash.
