Rush City will be celebrating its Annual Santa Day/ Holiday in the Park Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Rush City will be celebrating its Annual Santa Day/ Holiday in the Park Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Rush City park and along 4th Street in the Schneider Building and the Grant House. The Rush City Chamber of Commerce, Rush City Lions, Knutson Realty, and the Rush City High School BPA and Tiger Pride are hosting the event and have many activities planned.
Following are some of the fun events being planned:
2-4 p.m. – “Sleigh Rides” in the park.
2-4 p.m. – Musical Performances and caroling by the RCHS Choir and the Jacobson Elementary School 7th Grade Choir in the Park
2-6 p.m. Santa will be hearing children’s requests and handing out gifts.
Pictures with Santa will be available for a small fee.
Santa Store will be open to allow children to shop for themselves or others for a minimal cost in the Schneider Building. Free Children’s Crafts
Rush City Girl Scouts will have Hot Cocoa for sale.
CCW will have cookies for sale.
Rush City High School Music Boosters will have popcorn for sale.
Quilt Guild will have a quilt raffle.
Crafts and Gifts available at the Rush City Grant House (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Rush City Chamber will have ornaments for sale.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church Men’s Community Dinner @ 5-7:30 p.m..
Watch for Rush City’s new Snowflake pole decorations going up along 4th and Hwy 361. Thank you to Rush City EDA and the Rush City Chamber for these decorations. Also look for the new Christmas tree planted in the Triangle Park.
