Apple Valley Police are investigating a shooting at a mobile home park.

Police responded to a call to the Cedar Knolls Mobile Park on the 12500 block of Gavotte Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Oct. 28 on a report that shots were fired into a home.

Police searched the home and found a bullet from a small-caliber firearm and a bullet hole in the home. No one was injured.

“We believe it came from a lot of a vacant property nearby,” Apple Valley Police Capt. Jon Rechtzigel said.

Police have no suspects or motive, and the incident is still under investigation, he said.

Anyone with any information on the incident should call the Apple Valley Police at (952) 953-2700.
