I-35W bridge maintenance work to take place April 30- May 1

Roseville, MN – Motorists will experience delays at the I-35W bridge spanning the Mississippi River on April 30 and May 1 as crews perform various maintenance on the bridge deck.

The right lane and shoulder of I-35W will be closed between 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 30 and 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1.

The restriping work previously scheduled to take place between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on April 29 and April 30, has been cancelled due to rain forecast for Thursday and Friday. That work will be rescheduled for a later date.

As an extensive road construction project continues on Interstate 35W and Highway 10 in the cities of Blaine, Arden Hills and Moundsview, drivers will encounter additional closures and possible congestion on both roadways:

• The ramps from Lake Drive and the south I-35W service drive to I-35W will open late Monday, May 2.
• The ramp from eastbound Highway 10 to northbound I-35W will close late Monday, May 2 for approximately two weeks.
• The ramp from Ramsey County Road I to southbound I-35W will close Wednesday, May 5 and reopens late Saturday, May 8.
•All ramps between Ramsey County Road 96 and I-35W will close Thursday, May 6 and reopen early Monday, May 10.
