Elk River man jailed for assault found guilty of more heinous crime

The the man who went to jail for assaulting Elk River homeowner Keith Glenn with a knife during a 2008 burglary was found guilty of an even more heinous crime Thursday in Sherburne County 10th District Court.

Cory Daniel Bell, 23, was linked to a July 23, 2006, criminal sexual assault and burglary through DNA while he was incarcerated for the 2008 crime. See more in Star News story.
