Alvina Sanquist, 86

Alvina Marie Sanquist, a resident St. Cloud,  died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at her home.

Alvina was born July 20, 1924, in St. Cloud, to Elmer and Johanna Marie (Athen) Aronson. She married Melvin Sanquist June 26, 1944, in Miles City, Mont. Alvina enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking, baking, humming- birds and flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Sanquist; sons and daughters, Darlene (Kurt) Ogg of Borbonnis, Ill., Connie Haberkorn of Kempton, Ill., Ralph (Shari) Sanquist of Nevis, Melvin (Jeanette) Sanquist of Royalton, Judy Sanquist of Cold Spring, Imogene (Roger) Ebert of Sauk Centre and Kenneth (Kathy) Sanquist of Cold Spring, Warren Sanquist of St. Cloud, Jay Sanquist of Rockville, Brett (Janet) Sanquist of Danube, Bart (Sandy) Sanquist of St. Cloud; one sister, Ann Roering of Holdingford; 32 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Elmer, Albert and Harold Aronson; three grandchildren, Patrick Haberkorn, Victor Schroeder and Dawn Anderson; two sons-in-law, Ron Haberkorn and William Wilson;  and one brother-in-law, Kenneth Roering.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
